Humanities Engage Symposium in September

The Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences Office of Graduate Studies, with generous support from the Mellon Foundation, is pleased to announce the Humanities Engage Symposium, September 13-14, 2022.

This event will feature alumni, public humanists, nonprofit leaders, and faculty and graduate student Humanities Engage awardees. Panel discussions, roundtables, and workshops will discuss making the humanities public, curricular innovation, career diversity, professional skills and competencies, and more. While focused specifically on doctoral education, the Symposium is open to all students, faculty, and community members interested in public-facing research, curricular innovation, and career diversity.

Public health safety permitting, we are planning for the event to be in-person with some aspects remotely accessible. Please register for some or all of the Symposium, and we look forward to seeing you there.
